Well known English writer Aldous Huxley (from 1894 to 1963) did not think twice about sharing his thoughts and practices with the world.1 Throughout his life he tended to be drawn towards "chemical vacations" (occasional usage of drugs to get away from reality). On one occasion he experimented with a drug by the name of mescaline. Mescaline is a psychedelic drug typically found in cacti. During 1896 this psychedelic was extracted and used.2

Abstract
Cardiovascular exercise is known to be good for organs such as the heart and lung. Cigarette smoke however goes against cardio and can bring death to a person. The harmful additives in cigarettes are known to cause lung cancer, heart disease, and emphysema. For the experiment I choose five nonsmokers and five smokers that practice cardiovascular workouts. The five nonsmokers turned out to have healthy hearts and lungs. Unfortunately three of the five smokers were infected with lung cancer, one had emphysema and all five smokers had weak hearts. In conclusion smoking cigarettes is deadly and exercising is one way to keep the body healthy. For all the smokers out there I suggest that you give up the cigarettes and possibly incorparate some exercise in your daily routine.

My Experience in Puerto Rico

During my high school years I attended a school trip to Puerto Rico. Despite the fact that Puerto Rico is part of the United States, I do not think anywhere in the US can compare. Luckily I got the chance to travel there on several occassions. Both times during my spring break vacation in which my spanish teacher lead both expeditions. We did many exciting things there such as drinking out of fresh coconuts to wandering through a rain forest. Even though we spent a lot of money on this trip we didn't get the chance to stay in a 5 star hotel. We stayed in a hotel that was more native styled and it was a great experience.
